Recently, I thought I had been really lucky in life, both in modelling and professionally. I have met, worked with, and am still working with incredible people.

I always thought I was not successful in life. But a recent thought is that I might not have reached my destination, but I am definitely on the right track. Maybe it’s just a longer journey. A scenic route.

In those early photography days, I did countless test shoots, and as I transitioned to modelling, I carried that same passion forward. This was recorded over a week before my show in London, which focuses on diversity. It also strangely coincides with the racial violence in Ballymena, Northern Ireland. Just as flora and fauna must be diverse to thrive, humankind is no different. We need to focus more on the positivity of what we can achieve together rather than on hate and discrimination.

Do you always have this feeling that despite being introverted, there is a part of you that wants to come out too? You’ve got a friend here

For three decades, I kept pieces of who I am locked away. My queerness, my insecurities, my real thoughts - all hidden because I thought that’s what would keep me safe. But hiding yourself doesn’t protect you, it just makes you smaller.

The exhaustion of constantly editing yourself, of wondering if people would still accept you if they knew the real you... it’s a weight I didn’t even realize I was carrying until I started putting it down.

Coming out isn’t just about sexuality - it’s about showing up authentically in every part of your life. It’s about letting people see your scenic route, curves and all.

Still learning to take up space instead of shrinking. Still practicing being seen instead of hiding. It’s messy, it’s scary, but what’s the worst it could get?

To anyone still hiding parts of themselves - you deserve to be seen and loved for exactly who you are. Your authentic self is not too much.

I had such a great time meeting new people and being part of a community that believes in the diversity of humankind! Living life isn't about perfection, but it's about what’s perfect FOR YOU!

I had a conversation yesterday about manifestation, and I woke up wondering if I had manifested this experience. 🤔

It was such a privilege to work with this fantastic team. They have definitely empowered me even more to share my inner voice, which I always thought was and still is uncomfortable for me.

I used to abso-fucking-lutely hate my body. (Still a work in progress)

I have never said it out loud, but why not? Part of my journey involves sitting with these uncomfortable feelings.

I had a scrawny, asymmetrical body with lots of scars, and I looked unhealthy. I smoked, drank a lot, and engaged in many activities typical of someone in their 20s.

To give myself space, I took a “thirst trap” selfie together with other various photos of myself from over the years.
